Download TikTok videos without watermark
This TikTok downloader saves public videos without the watermark, in the same HD quality TikTok streamed them. Paste a link and you get one clean MP4 — no bouncing logo, no @username burned across the frame, and nothing to install or sign into. It's free, runs entirely in your browser, and works even on videos the creator has switched off from saving inside the app.
The no-watermark part isn't a trick or a screen recording: the tool fetches TikTok's original source file before the moving logo and username are stamped on, so nothing is cropped, blurred, or re-compressed. That also answers the creator question — paste your own video's link and you get a clean master back. Downloads behave the same on iPhone, Android, and desktop, straight from the browser.
How to download a TikTok video
In the app, open the video, tap the Share arrow, then tap Copy link. In a desktop browser, copy the URL straight from the address bar. Paste it into the box at the top of this page and your clean MP4 is ready in a few seconds — there's no format menu or quality picker to work through.
On iPhone the file saves through the Files app or the share sheet (and appears in Safari's Downloads list), so you can move it into Photos from there. On Android it drops straight into your Downloads folder and shows up in your gallery. There's no app, extension, or sign-in at any step.
What you can save from TikTok
The core job is regular TikTok videos — clips on your For You feed, posts on a profile, and ones shared to you — saved as a single HD MP4 with no logo or @username stamped across them. Longer, multi-minute uploads come down as one file the same way.
The sound comes with it: whatever music or trending audio plays over the clip is baked into the MP4, so the video and its track stay together. This page saves the video itself — it doesn't split out a standalone audio file.
TikTok also publishes photo-mode posts, which are a slideshow of still images set to a sound rather than filmed video. That's a distinct post type from a normal clip, so what a photo-mode link gives back can differ from a standard video download.
Which TikTok links work — and which don't
Any public TikTok link is fine. That includes the full desktop URL (tiktok.com/@username/video/…), the short vm.tiktok.com and vt.tiktok.com links that Share › Copy link produces, and mobile app links. You can paste the link with or without the extra tracking text tacked onto the end.
What can't be fetched is anything that isn't publicly viewable: private accounts, 'Friends only' posts, unpublished drafts, and deleted videos all come back empty, because there's no public file to reach without being logged in with access. Links that only open inside the app, and LIVE streams, won't resolve either.
Why not just use TikTok's own save button?
TikTok has a built-in Save video, but it burns the moving watermark — the logo and @username — across every frame, and creators can switch it off completely, which is usually the moment people look for another option. Pasting the link here fetches the source before that stamp is applied, so the frame stays clean.
TikTok's own save is also limited or missing on some posts and in some regions, and it never hands you the file on a desktop browser. This tool behaves the same everywhere, on any device, without opening the app.
Why a TikTok download sometimes fails
The usual reason is that the post isn't public. If the account went private, the video was set to 'Friends only', or it was taken down between when you saw it and when you pasted the link, there's no public file to fetch. Age-restricted and login-gated posts that TikTok only shows to signed-in users fail for the same reason.
Region locks matter too — some videos and sounds aren't available in every country, so a link that works for the creator can return empty elsewhere. A half-copied or mistyped link will also fail, so re-copy it with Share › Copy link and paste the whole thing. If a public video still won't download, wait a moment and try again.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is SnapDownloader for TikTok?+−
It's a free, browser-based TikTok downloader that saves public videos as clean HD MP4 files with no watermark. There's nothing to install and no account to create — you paste a link and download, on desktop or mobile.
How do I download a TikTok video?+−
Open the video, tap Share then Copy link (or copy the URL from your browser's address bar), and paste it into the box at the top of this page. The download starts on its own — there are no format or quality menus — then save the MP4 to your device.
What can I download from TikTok?+−
Public TikTok videos — For You feed clips, posts on a profile, and longer uploads — saved as HD MP4 files with the sound embedded. Private, 'Friends only', and deleted posts can't be downloaded.
What quality will the download be?+−
You get the best quality TikTok served for that video — HD, usually up to 1080p — saved at the source resolution. There's no quality picker because it always takes the highest the source offers; genuine 4K only exists on the rare clip TikTok actually stored that way.
Can I download just the sound or an MP3?+−
This page saves the whole video as an MP4 with its audio included, so the clip and its sound stay together. It doesn't export a separate MP3 or audio-only file — there's no MP3 button here.
Can I download a TikTok photo slideshow?+−
Photo-mode posts are a slideshow of stills set to a sound, which is a different format from a filmed video. This tool is built around standard video posts, so a photo-mode link may behave differently from a normal clip.
Does it really download TikTok without the watermark?+−
Yes, and not by erasing anything. Instead of screen-recording a stamped video, it fetches TikTok's original source file before the moving logo and @username are burned on, so the frame is clean and nothing is cropped or blurred.
Can I download a video the creator blocked from saving?+−
Usually yes. Because it pulls the source file rather than TikTok's in-app Save button, it can often save clips where downloading was switched off. It still can't reach private posts, and saved videos are for personal use — credit the creator.
Can I download private TikTok videos?+−
No. Only public content can be downloaded. Private accounts, 'Friends only' posts, and anything that requires logging in to view aren't accessible, and no legitimate tool can get around that.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?+−
Yes — it runs in any modern browser on iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, or tablet, with nothing to install. On iPhone the file saves via the Files app or share sheet; on Android it lands in your Downloads folder and gallery.
Is it free, and are there download limits?+−
It's completely free with no sign-up and no cap on how many public videos you can save. You don't create an account or install anything, and the tool doesn't keep the videos you download.
SnapDownloader — free online video downloader
ABOUTSnapDownloader is a free online video downloader that works entirely in your browser. Paste a link from Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter / X, Pinterest, Snapchat, or LinkedIn and save the video to your device in HD — no software to install, no account to create, and no watermark added to your files.
Unlike browser extensions that read your browsing data or downloader sites buried in pop-ups, SnapDownloader processes your link in memory and forgets it. Downloads come out at the source quality the platform provides — an HD MP4, usually up to 1080p.
It works on every device with a browser: iPhone, Android, Windows, Mac, Linux, and tablets. Android users can also install the SnapDownloader app to save videos straight to the gallery from any app's share sheet.
SnapDownloader only fetches publicly available videos and respects each platform's privacy settings — private accounts and protected content stay private. For guides on saving from each platform, read the journal or jump straight to a platform downloader.
